“Shrewd customers should be buying them by the caseloads,” raves top critic Robert Parker of Reed Renaudin’s “exceptional bargains.”
We couldn’t agree more. That’s why we’re thrilled to bring you Reed’s latest Cabernet. Wildwood is classic California Cab – rich, black-fruited and lavishly oak-aged.
Reed, who completed his graduate work at the famed UC Davis wine program, has worked for some of the biggest names in California wine (including Heitz). And he drew upon his strong local connections for Wildwood. Through his contacts, he was able to source premium Cabernet grapes from throughout California – taking full advantage of the exceptional 2013, “a vintage that may be even better than the lauded 2012,” says JancisRobinson.com.
Wildwood shows a deep ruby color in the glass. Flavors of fresh cassis, ripe blackberry and toasty tobacco leaf lead to a long, smooth finish. Serve with savory red meats or aged cheeses.
While Wildwood is already drinking deliciously, it will develop nicely in the cellar for a few more years. But don’t wait to order. We’ve limited cases to go around.
