Santa Lucia Highlands
Pinot Noir

Sierra Mar vineyard is owned by Gary and Rosella Franscioni; famed pioneers of this appellation. This is an incredible vineyard site that reflects the best of Santa Lucia Highlands. The vineyard produces rich, lush, unctuous fruit that is balanced out by the natural acidity of the site.

Dark and powerful, this wine has high tone aromatics of Chambord, dried herbs, and wild berries. The aromas follow through on the densely concentrated palate, which abounds with black cherry fruit and hints of spicy oak. The finish is dense and lengthy; loaded with fine grain tannin.

93 points - Wine Enthusiast
"Rich aromas of raspberry jam, brown spice and coffee greet the nose on this wine from Napa Valley’s Hall Wines, named Walt after Kathryn Hall’s middle name. The delicious flavors include long-lingering plum, some earthiness and a distinct orange peel acidity that keeps the mouth salivating long after the sip is gone." - Virginia Boone
