Alessandro Gallici’s luscious Visionario has delighted wine fans for 10 years. Critics love it too – the 2016 release boasts 93 points from Luca Maroni, and Master of Wine Julia Harding called a recent vintage “totally Italian and Venetian. Juicy, fresh, and complex.”
Now, Alessandro is thrilled to introduce his special 10th-anniversary cuvée. Like the original, it’s made in the image of Luigi Felluga’s legendary, $60+ Terre Alte. Alessandro even sourced the grapes from the same hallowed vineyards around the Abbey of Rosazzo, where he has to buzzed in the massive gates by the Felluga team.
After hand-selecting the five best parcels, Alessandro treated the wine to kid-glove care in the cellar. Bursting with lovely floral-spice aromas and intensely concentrated, citrus- and orchard-fruit flavors, this is hands-down the finest Visionario yet.
