Sangiovese, the predominant grape of Tuscany, has at least 14 different clones. Viansa's 2010 Sangiovese is made from 3 different clones grown on their estate. This wine showcases true varietal character with bright red fruit and soft tannins, hints of orange zest, violets and spice. Aging limited to 12 months in oak barrels to soften and add oak spice, yet preserve the bright fruit character. Enjoy this dry red wine with braised meats, pizza or a bowl of minestrone.
