The name says it all here: a hugely delicious triple combination of Zinfandel (75%), Petite Sirah (17.5%) and Carignan (7.5%).
Winemaker Matt Cline harvested fruit from the gnarled, 100-year-old bush vines of the Central Coast’s Contra Costa region. As in the previous vintage, he was able to coax a huge amount of intense flavor from his grapes in 2010. At a whopping 16.5% alcohol, this is a wine brimming with an inviting, silky texture and loads of juicy fruit.
Matt’s won serious industry acclaim with top write ups in Wine & Spirits magazine and trophies at The San Francisco Chronicle’s Wine Competition. Earn your own rave reviews with guests by serving them a glass of Triumvirate with spicy barbecued ribs or a thick, juicy steak.
Deep ruby with an inviting black fruit and spice aroma. Expect ripe blackberry and plum flavors with hints of white pepper, clove and a touch of vanilla.
