Sonoma County
Red Blend

Meet The Assayer: a luscious NEW blend from California’s oldest premium winery, Buena Vista, producer of "very good wines selling for $25 and less" (Wine Spectator). It was crafted by none other than David Ramey, the brilliant winemaker who helped elevate Napa’s Dominus to international icon status.

As a tribute to Agoston Haraszthy (San Francisco’s first official assayer and the founder of Buena Vista), David sought out Sonoma’s most precious vineyard sites – some planted with vines up to 90 years old – for his unique blend.

The result is this rich concoction of Merlot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Petite Verdot, Carignane, Cinsault and rare Valdiguié – hand-picked and barrel-aged to toasty perfection. With layers of black cherry, cinnamon and cocoa, it shows off all the richness of the excellent 2013 vintage.

Quality’s never been higher at Buena Vista, with rave reviews from the likes of The Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator to prove the point. Hurry for your exclusive taste.
