“Isabecta de Lominis, the mother of Giovanni Santi and the paternal grandmother of the famed Renaissance painter Raphael, was given, as her dowry, a part of the land that is now the Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo and it is here that we produce our wine.”
Its perlage distinctive, fine and persistent, the Isabecta Brut glistens, a color between paper and straw. The nose has a distinctive lemony tang, with traces of lime and citron. This pungency is also evident in the taste, which is fragrant and crisp, yet also smooth. Overall, a harmonious wine, with a finish redolent of bitter almonds. To be drunk young, this Brut is the perfect partner for many dishes, and its ideal serving temperature is between 10°C (50°F) and 14°C (57°F).
