Ruth Chavarri makes some of our most popular Riojas – so you can imagine our smiling faces when she sent us this gorgeous rosado. And knowing all our thirsty rosé fans, we’re pretty sure it will make you smile, too.
It hails from the Chavarris’ estate vineyards in Rioja’s premium Alavesa district, and was crafted with Tempranillo grown on gnarled, old vines. These low-yielding heirlooms produce seriously concentrated grapes, so the wine really bursts with juicy-ripe strawberry and red cherry charm.
A perfectly refreshing sip on its own, it’ll also shine alongside Spanish-inspired tapas like silky jamón serrano, gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp), simple olives, and more.
Trust us, you'll be happy to have a bottle (or three) tucked away in your fridge door.
