Since 1981, Lyeth Estate has pioneered the Bordeaux blend in California. Also known as Meritage (pronounced like "heritage"), these wines are an homage to their Bordeaux counterparts, but deliver a ripe yet elegant charm you can only find in Sonoma.

Led by currant-packed Cabernet Sauvignon, this complex, harmonious example from star winemaker Bill Arbios makes delicious use of the five “noble” Bordeaux red grapes.

“An easy, gentle wine, soft and velvety in texture, offering jammy flavors of blackberries, cherries, raspberries and oak. Earns extra points for dryness and a richly tannic structure.” (Wine Enthusiast).

Lyeth Estate (part of the acclaimed Boisset Family Estates) remains a premier producer of the American Bordeaux blend. Thanks to our strong relationship with them, we were thrilled to bring you this gem. But given California’s current wine shortages, great-tasting values like this are becoming increasingly rare.
