Location: This wine is sourced from a group of producers located in the St. Chinian area of the Languedoc. The vineyard is nestled on the east by the Pyrenees range of mountains and on the west by the Atlantic coastline. This outstanding location has a strong impact on the region climatic conditions.  Maritime effects are very noticeable, with water currents moderating the region’s temperatures. In addition to the Pyrenees mountains proximity enhancing temperature shift from day to night, the growing season is very long, leading to more concentrated flavor and freshness in the fruit. All these factors make Gascony one of the most adapted terroirs for the production of aromatic, elegant, and balanced wines.

Grape Varieties: 100% Cinsault

Vinification: The wine making process is very modern and meant to preserve the freshness and the aromatic profile of the grapes varieties. All the grapes are harvested at night, once they have reached optimal maturity. The crop is then pneumatically pressed in order to extract the premium juices. The fermentation process is carried out at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine is matured on its fine lees for a few months until bottling.

Tasting Notes: Bright salmon color. Abundance of dried cranberry and raspberry with tobacco and baking spices notes on the nose. Fresh and vibrant on the palate with some smooth tannins. This superbly textured wine finishes with a fruity finish. Enjoy this wine with grilled vegetables and smoky meats.
