Vinification: Cabernet Sauvignon needs ripe grapes to show its full potential which is why the winemakers carefully choose the time for harvesting. As they arrive in the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and crushed before they are sent to macerate for 2 weeks in concrete tanks. This long process is ideal to extract the fruity character of the variety. 15% of the juice is aged under the influence of half toasted French oak, adding complexity to the resulting wine.

Grape Varieties: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes: Deep ruby color. Luscious, ripe fruity notes of blackberry and blackcurrant, complemented by hints of tobacco and dried herbs. Rich and silky on the palate with a slight acidity from the tannins. Light coffee notes on the finish.

Food Pairings: Red meat, spaghetti and meatballs, duck breast, and even dark chocolate.
