Bordeaux native Hervé Fabre makes some of our most popular Malbecs – but he’s no slouch with whites, as you’ll discover with his latest, top-tier Chardonnay release.
Hervé lives up to his Winemaker of the Year reputation (2010 International Wine & Spirit Competition) here. He hand harvests the Chardonnay from old, very low-yielding vines, grown at sky-high (ideal-for-grape-growing) altitudes in Mendoza, Argentina’s wine capital. The fruit basks in the brilliant sunshine by day and chilly temperatures at night, helping to promote the perfect combination of ripe, concentrated flavors with a super-fresh edge. The vineyards for this fine white are also sustainably farmed, something the quality-obsessed Hervé insists upon.
This medium-bodied Reserva brims with appealing orchard fruit and citrus aromas, with peach, apple, and lemon zest flavors on the palate. While it’s very easy to sip on its own, it’s also delightful with a wide variety of foods. It’d be a perfect bottle to tote to a wine-and-cheese soirée, or an equally delicious partner for savory roasted chicken and pork.
Hervé crafts his wines in very small batches to ensure quality. Act quickly to secure your share.
