Cabernet Franc
Rosé d'Anjou AOP

If it’s good enough for James Bond …

The world’s most famous fictional super spy sipped “a well-iced pint of Rose d’Anjou” at the Hôtel de la Gare in Ian Fleming’s novel, “Goldfinger.” It’s also the rosé of choice for droves of chic, bistro-going Parisians. So why not join them with this classy new arrival?

It was made for you by Loire Valley expert Noël Bougrier, whose family has been an institution there since 1885. He makes this special L’Angevine cuvée with parcels of his best Cabernet Franc from the excellent (but extremely low-yielding) 2017 vintage – so his small-batch production was even tinier than usual.

That means you’ll have to be quick to bag a taste – and your speedy efforts will be well rewarded. Look forward to a glassful of vibrant strawberry, raspberry, red currant, and refreshing mineral characters with just a kiss of sweetness – the perfect, most refreshing aperitif for secret agents and us regular people alike.
