Intense dark purple to black color. Aromas of red fruits with a strong minerality. This Moldovan wine, made from the Georgian grape, Saperavi, really packs a punch. There are meaty aromas and notes of bonfire and dried fruit. On the palate there are dense blackcurrant flavours along with licorice and resiny and spicy tannins. This is a full-body and captivating wine. A strong and complex taste with creamy notes as a result of the malolactic fermentation and further maturation in clay amphoras.
