“There is no greater value in red wine anywhere in the world today than Argentine Malbec,” says Wine Spectator.

Here's delicious proof, from one of Mendoza’s hottest new outfits, Bodega Zemlia, who regularly win huge acclaim for their small-batch reds. Hand-harvested in the premium Uco Valley and given eight months in fine oak, a previous vintage of Destinado caught the eye of The Wine Advocate, who rated it 89 Points and had this to say:

"The 2015 Zemlia Destinado Malbec is aged in French and American oak and it is the latter the shapes the nose with attractive espresso-lite notes. The palate is medium-bodied with red cherries and strawberry pastille on the citrus-fresh opening. It is well-balanced with vibrant acidity and a pleasing crisp kirsch and raspberry finish. This is a well-made, very pretty Malbec."

The team at Bodega Zemlia really outdid themselves with this 2013 release: it was a double-gold-medal, 93-Point hit at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition in 2014, and also sports kudos from the judges at the 2014 International Wine Challenge. (And it's just as big a winner with a juicy steak.)

This is the kind of intense, classy wine you’d pay twice the price for in Napa or Bordeaux. Order now.
