If you’ve been searching for the next delicious Bordeaux to add to your cellar, look no further. Crafted by a family estate that dates back to 1810, Château La Loubière is a soft, supple red, with impressive acclaim. It won its first gold medal at the top local show, then claimed its second on the national stage, at France’s most important wine competition.
‘Bordeaux Supérieur’ on the label is a real quality marker. It means the wine must be made from single parcels of older vines, and aged a year prior to release. And that’s exactly what the team at Château La Loubière did – hand-selecting the top fruit from their best vineyards in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers.
A classic blend of Merlot (70 percent) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30 percent), Château La Loubière displays plummy fruit character, with notable depth and balance. Look forward to enticing aromas of red fruit, with a dash of spice. The flavors follow on, with fresh red fruit and a velvety smooth finish. Decant an hour before serving, then pair with mature cheeses, roast lamb or your favorite cut of steak.

Beautifully dry and powerful, the grippy tannins on the palate are complimented well with fresh red fruit and a velvety finish. This expresses beautifully grippy tannins and begs for a hefty food pairing, such a prime rib, brisket, and hard aged cheeses.
