Borgo la Caccia Estate is a 90 hectare oasis, 30 hectares of which are dedicated to luxuriant vineyards laid out between the Morainic Hills flanking Lake Garda. In this area, where ancient villages reveal themselves as small gems amidst dense woods, golden wheat expanses and luxuriant rows of vines, our cellar cultivates Carmènere, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir among the reds and Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Turbiana di Lugana among the white grape varieties.
What makes the Wine Cellar unique?
Passion for tradition, use of natural methods in the vineyard and wine-cellar, and respect for Mother Nature’s precious gifts. These are the cornerstones of our philosophy. The star of the wine-cellar is the Lugana DOC, a single varietal wine made from the great native Turbiana di Lugana. It is a vibrant wine with a gentle and elegant flavour and a pleasant citrus and fruit aroma. The charm of our winery is the result of the masterful union of tradition and technique. A splendid estate recalling ancient style with a laboratory where state of the art machines are operated by experts who have long been dedicated to producing wines of excellent quality.
