The color is intense ruby red, with purplish and black nuances, almost impenetrable. It has a very complex: fruity fragrance, packed with small dark berries and balsamic spicy aromas, mineral, elderberry and undergrowth reminiscence; black and white pepper, cocoa and coffee complete the bouquet. Supple taste, full bodied, meaty, rich with well integrated silky tannins. Vinification in oak wood and aged in barriques for 16 months. The finish is extremely long and intense with fruity and spicy undertones and glorious white pepper flavors. It is perfect to be served with red meats, game, hard and aged cheeses. Suggested serving temperature 18° C – 19°C.
